“I have mainly been attending the Small Group Training sessions and one-on-one training with Straddy. In both the one-on-one training and group sessions I have always been pushed and challenged, and no one workout has ever been the same, which is great because you never know what you’re going to do till you get there.
In all truth, Straddy seems to know my limits better than I do, and as a result always drives me to work harder and far beyond what I would do on my own. Best trainer ever! As an added bonus the staff and members are all very friendly and the gym has a great community vibe.”
I have been a lunchtime regular at Synergy Fitness for over five years. With the appeal of a smaller inner-city gym that is close to the office with the bonus of a swimming pool, this was an easy decision to make. What I didn’t anticipate was the friendliness of the staff and their commitment to help me to achieve my fitness goals – their advice and support has been second to none. Recently signing up for the Results HQ program has encouraged me to lift the bar from my regular training routine to small group sessions where the only thing that is predictable is that I will be physically challenged – with a little friendly banter to encourage me on my way! The Results HQ session motivated me to train regularly and to push myself beyond my limits. The classes are very collegial and provide a nice variety of workouts. Aside from improving my overall fitness, the classes also helped me manage stress in daily life and to improve my ‘mental toughness’.
“I remember going to my first Results HQ as a newbee, overweight 40 something and unfit. I almost died!But 2 years on I am still going, over 50, fitter and stronger than I was at 30! No one session is the same, that’s what I love about it. It provides a whole range from cardio, weights, boxing. You get to do things you wouldn’t think you could do, with a great bunch of people and we also got to do a team event this year with “Tough Gal and Gal”. After having 2 kids, I’m constantly feeling exhausted both mentally and physically. I also felt very uncomfortable in my own skin and moody at the end of the day. Then one day, I decided that something needed to be done and went and saw Sarah. Ever since joining the LeanFit program, I’ve enjoyed every bit of it. I never thought that I’ll stick to it (or do a whole session with Straddy just on BURPEES! and kettlebell weights), but Sarah and the team at Synergy have been great support to me at achieving my fitness goals. They’ve pushed me out of my comfort zone and surprised me of what I’m capable of.In just a short period of 2 weeks, I’ve started to see the change physically and mentally. I was able to enjoy my time with my family after work and I don’t feel moody at the end of the day anymore.
